Aside from the occasional MacDo because I need free wifi, I’ve been eating pretty well. I was even able to button my black skinny pants! (I bought them 2yrs ago at GAP Paris) Since my landlady bought me veggies (purple and black eggplant, tomatos, yellow/green bell peppers), I’ve been pan frying them with eggs, or with basil and olive oil. I topped some of the eggplant with Mimolette cheese (an orange aged cheese that we ate at my house last Friday!) it was a good idea! With the leftovers I stuffed a galette (a crepe that is used for savory crepes). Galettes are much thinner and darker than the ones you normally see. I honestly didn’t know what to buy in grocery stores here until I started eating with my ex and shopping with his mom. I learned what cheeses to buy, what cereal to choose, what breakfast foods to pick up,
I learned which one was the GOOD butter! =)
Happy Eid friends! BTW I’ve been listening to Beur FM (beur is what Frenchies call people from North Africa who live here). There are many Eid Celebrations going on! I’d love to go, but I have no Arab friends to go with! T_T I wanna go!!!! =( It’s so cool to hear French Arabic together lol I love it! =) Yes! Now I can work on my Arabic listening and French listening! Thanks Beur FM! =)
